Karen Hibdon, Community News editor, has been a journalist in Ventura County for more than 35 years. Her current assignment involves "the good people doing good things" throughout the county which keeps her hopping. Hibdon, 57, has lived in Ventura County for 49 years. She and her husband Stan live in Moorpark. Their son Mike is married to Colette and they have a daughter, Madison, 1. When not working, Hibdon enjoys spending time with the family's three horses, working in the yard and taking long motorcycle trips ‹ leaving the driving to Stan.
