Photo courtesy Jenine Oropeza Simi Valley 6/5/08: Jenine Oropeza of Simi Valley being visited at Children's Hospital Los Angeles by actor Haley Joel Osment during a Haloween event in a photo dated circa 1995. Oropeza had to have her left arm and part of her torso amputated after being diagnosed with cancer. Despite all she has been through she was awarded her doctorate in psychology on June 1. She currently works with homeless teens in Los Angeles uses her battles with cancer to give her strength.
