@TO-Cal Stand Out hed:Hair apparent Steel Panther at Karma Lounge Headbands and teased hair are two things that should never go together — unless you want to spoof the '80s. Throw in some tattoos, shredding guitars and a knack for singing Guns N' Roses covers, and you've got Steel Panther, the glam heavy metal parody band formerly known as Metal Skool and Metal Shop. Just signed by Universal Records, Steel Panther has a regular weekly gig at the Key Club in Hollywood and will bring its wild mix of metal music and raunchy comedy to the Karma Lounge in Ventura tonight. The show is for ages 21 and older. Karma Lounge is at 281 Main St. For information, including ticket prices, call 641-9090. AP Steel Panther will crank out '80s-era headbanger anthems when it performs tonight at the Karma Lounge in Ventura.
