Ventura College offers insurance job training

Ventura College is joining a statewide effort to prepare students for careers in the insurance industry. The California Insurance Careers Program was developed because the state's insurance companies need trained entry-level workers, said Jeff Stephens, a spokesman for the statewide initiative.
