Evacuations
7/8/2008 - Evacuation orders reduced to a warning: Residents of Trout Club, Kinevan Road area, West Camino Cielo to the Windemere Ranch, Haney Tract,Hidden Valley may return to their homes
The Following areas also remain under a Evacuation Warning: Painted Cave Area and Goleta area west of Winchester Canyon to Dos Pueblos Canyon including: Eagle Canyon, Tecolote Canyon, Santa Barbara Ranch, Dos Pueblos Ranch.
Shelter information
The American Red Cross, Santa Barbara County Chapter has put its Emergency Shelter at San Marcos High School on standby status. If the need arises, the shelter will be opened again and can be done so in a matter of minutes. Those in need of emergency housing due to Gap Fire evacuations are asked to call the American Red Cross, Santa Barbara County Chapter at 687-1331.
