CHRISTMAS AROUND THE WORLD: The annual holiday exhibit at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum features 26 trees representing the countries President Reagan visited while in office. Also on display are special Nutcracker, Santa Claus and White House trees. For the first time, holiday-related gifts and letters, including Christmas letters from President Reagan to wife Nancy Reagan, will be shown. WINE-TASTING TOURS: St. John’s Seminary is offering fundraising wine tours to the Santa Ynez Valley led by the Rev. Leon Hutton, a St. John’s alumnus and professor of church history. Lunch, tours of four wineries, bus transportation and snacks are included. Hutton will celebrate a Mass at Mission Santa Ines, the final stop on the tour. Jan. 9 and Feb. 6. WHALE WATCHING: Migrating gray whales are on their way south from arctic waters to Baja California. Several companies offer whale-watching trips daily through early April from Ventura Harbor and/or Channel Islands Harbor. Excursions last about three hours and cost $21 to $30.
