September 20, 2008 - IRWINDALE, CA - Toyota Speedway's ½-mile oval offered some exciting racing Saturday night. From Jeff Williams' fast qualifying lap of 19.95 to Ronnie Davis' first win in the West Coast Pro Truck series, these racers were driving hard from start to finish!

Jeff Williams is always looking to make improvements on his number 28 Ford F-150. With a little pixy dust and a positive attitude, Williams took his Spectre Performance, Rare Parts, SinFuel Choppers Ford to its fastest qualifying lap at the Irwindale race track. It was close to the record, but the 19.95s lap-time placed Williams at the top of the pole.

Williams spun a 3 invert and would start on the inside of row two. Davis started on pole in his number 78 truck and would eventually lead the entire race. Williams quickly moved into second place after getting by the 24 of Rickie James. The 28 and 78 battled it out for a few laps until Williams fell in behind Davis. Dalton Kuhn and James both attempted to pass Williams lap after lap, but never cleared the 28.

Williams finished the race in second place; extending his points lead in the chase for the championship. Next stop, Orange Show Speedway, October 18.
