Columnist to speak at Moorpark College

More from County NewsNationally syndicated columnist and veteran journalist Robert Scheer will discuss what he describes as a Bush administration abuse of power when he appears Monday at Moorpark College.
The event is free and open to the public as part of Moorpark College's Year of Democracy, a series of speakers and events designed to enlighten students at the college and the community at large.
Scheer is a regular contributor to National Public Radio's "Left, Right and Center" and writes a syndicated op-ed column based at the San Francisco Chronicle.
He is a contributing editor to The Nation.
He is also the editor of www.truthdig.com, an online political magazine.
His newest book, "The Pornography of Power: How Defense Hawks Hijacked 9/11 and Weakened America," focuses on defense policy and military issues facing the U.S. today.
Scheer will be signing copies of his books after the event, which will begin at 7 p.m.
The lecture will be in the Performing Arts Center auditorium.

This "journalist", and I use that term loosely, is an extreme leftist. I am surprised that Moorpark College is inviting this person to their campus to speak to these young students. Please see the following link that exposes Mr Scheer for what he truly is: http://www.spinsanity.com/columns/200...

More leftist-liberalism indoctrination for the naive and unsuspecting college students at Moorpark. I will bet that conservatives will NOT disrupt Mr. Sheer's speech.
But, if a conservative were to speak, you can bet, the Leftist-liberals would disrupt a conservative's speech.
It's how a leftist-liberal acts.
