Bugliosi will discuss his recent best-seller

Vincent Bugliosi, author of the New York Times best-seller "The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder," will talk about the book Oct. 10 at Poinsettia Pavilion in Ventura.

The event will start at 7 p.m. at 3451 Foothill Road. Admission is free with the purchase of his book at the door; without purchase the cost is $8.

In his career at the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, Bugliosi's most famous trial, the Charles Manson case, became the basis of his classic true crime book, "Helter Skelter."

In "The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder," Bugliosi presents a legal case for putting Bush on trial for murder in the deaths of American soldiers in the Iraq war.

Sponsors of the event include HopeDance; Citizens for Impeachment, V.C.; Progressive Democrats of America; A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition; V.C. Greens; Code Pink, Ojai; Veterans for Peace; V.C. Stop the War; and Jane Bright of Gold Star Families for Peace.

why is it that, as soon as they leave the prosecutor's office, these guys become screaming, frothing at the mouth left-wing whackjobs?

I don't know much about this book but I do think that many of this past Administrations officials have some at least cautionary things to consider as regards being considered potential "War Criminals".

It's been said that War Crimes are for losers, and that may be true. For sure you can't paint the Bush Administration as winners here.

Rumsfeld has already had to cancel a trip to Germany to avoid indictment. That is a fact.

I'd wager that a lot of current and former Bush Admin officials have pondered this possibility.

With all due respect, Bugliosi, a once proud and hard working prosecutor is now a leftist-liberal who espouses mish-mush.

Hey N_Cash, I've spoken to many, many military folks upon their return to the USA from Iraq. The common thread is the Iraqi people hold dear the American soldier who has eradicated an evil dictator and restored a semblance of civil order after years of trying times. The Iraqis would prefer the American stay. The Iraqis know what happens when the Americans leave. All hell will break out.

Time to relieve yourself of your leftist-liberal talking points, N_Cash.

So N_Cash is "not a leftist or a liberal"??

LOL!! Yeah, okay... so let's put him in the category of "wildly crazy denial".
