Fayed and employee to be charged with murder
A Moorpark business man and one of his employees were charged today with capital murder and conspiracy in connection to the stabbing death of his estranged wife Pamela Fayed in a Century City parking garage in July, according to court documents.
Jose Luis Moya, 47, will be arraigned this afternoon in Los Angeles County Superior Court on the charges. James Fayed, 45 who is currently being held without bail in a separate federal case, is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.
Fayed paid Moya about $25,000 to arrange the murder of Pamela Fayed of Camarillo, the conspiracy count alleges. Pamela Fayed was murdered for financial gain, according to the complaint filed against the two men.
Murder for financial gain is considered a special circumstance as is murder carried out by lying in wait, which the complaint filed against Fayed and Moya also alleges. Special circumstances allow prosecutors to seek the death penalty. The District Attorney’s office will not make that decision until the case moves closer to trial whether to seek the death penalty against the defendants.

he sold his soul for $25k. He must not have had much regard for anyone's life including his own.

As a close friend of Pam's, my family and I are in awe. It will never relieve the hurt we have felt having lost Pam in such a horrid way, but knowing that justice will be served brings much needed comfort.
I give many a thanks to the LAPD for their persistence throughout the investigation. THank you.

This has all the makings of a Lifetime TV movie.
Mr Fayed is pure evil. $25K to kill the mother of your child? For financial gain?
And Mr Moya - wow, must be a very desperate person to accept this "job."

Finally some good news today... I like it. We ALL knew it. They will both eventually be rotting in a prison cell sometime in the near future, for life.

lawabider - No, they don't always get caught, unfortunately. My husbands aunt was found beaten to death in her own home, with her pet dog standing guard over her. Everything pointed to her estranged husband, who had even made death threats against her, and after 8 or 9 years now the case is still "unsolved" with no "suspects". This was in Maine and not in California. "Funny" thing is the guy is a lawyer...knew how to cover his tracks. Caught or not, you know what they say about karma.....

Wow....That takes big huevos and no intelligence or morals...in this case....money most certainly corrupted this man ...with out a doubt he deserves whatever a jury gives him and then some...

Pam was a beautiful lady, and a great friend and neighbor. We all miss you Pam! Whatever happens to those accused of her brutal murder, it's not enough, but bring it on!
