What happened to teen heartthrobs of yesteryear?

Fame is ever fleeting in today's pop-culture world, so what happened to the hearthrobs young girls used to follow in Tiger Beat?

Bobby Sherman

Now 65, he was a regular on the Tiger Beat cover in the late 1960s and early '70s. Anybody remember cutting out his records from the back of Post cereal boxes?

Sing it: "Little Woman"; "Julie (Do Ya Love Me)"; "Easy Come, Easy Go"; "La La La."

That's weird: He built a large model of Disneyland's Main Street by hand in his yard. (Gotta see it on his Web site, http://www.bobbysherman.com.)

Whatever happened to him? An emergency medical technician, Sherman teaches first aid and CPR to L.A. Police Department cadets.

David Cassidy

Now 58, he was best known as Keith Partridge on "The Partridge Family" in the 1970s. Half brother Shaun Cassidy ("Da Doo Ron Ron") latched onto David's fame and became a teen idol, too. He's now 49.

Sing it: "I Think I Love You," "Cherish," "Come on, Get Happy."

That's weird: He had the teens atwitter in 1972 when he posed nude in Rolling Stone for photographer Annie Leibovitz.

Whatever happened to him? He's still living the dream, still doing concerts. At your next party bust out a dance remix of Cassidy's most popular songs, which you can buy at http://www.davidcassidy.com.

Leif Garrett

Now 46, he was a teen heartthrob/singer/actor in the mid- to late '70s.

Sing it: "Runaround Sue," "I Was Made for Dancin'."

That's weird: He shacked up with actress Nicollette Sheridan when she was a teen. In his mom's home.

Whatever happened to him? He dropped an album in 2007. He's mainly known for his drug troubles and a scary mug shot. He also makes the rounds of D-list celebrity reality shows, winning the celebrity edition of "Fear Factor" in 2006.
