Workshop will help commercial buyer
A free financing workshop for first-time commercial real estate buyers will take place 5:30 to 7 p.m. Oct. 7 at Hyatt Westlake Plaza, 880 S. Westlake Blvd.
Lee & Associates-LA North/Ventura Inc., California Statewide SBA Real Estate Financing and First California Bank will address the SBA-backed and conventional financing options available for business owners who want to own office property instead of leasing. Financing professionals will be on hand to help develop a comparison of the cost of renting versus owning.

Architectural design firm opens office
We Design It We Build It, a commercial and residential architectural design and build firm backed by proprietary software, is expanding its services and opening an office at 766 Lakefield Road, Suite A.
It has grown from a few large clients to serving the real estate community at large, including Silagi Development, Steadfast Companies, Parkstone Cos., The Muller Co., Westcord Commercial, Lee and Associates, Daum Commercial, CB Richard Ellis and others.
