Free grief support groups available

More from County NewsSimi Valley Hospital will offer a free afternoon and evening grief support group every Thursday for those who have experienced the death of a loved one.
The afternoon group will meet from 2:30 to 4 p.m. and the evening group from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Both will be held Thursdays at the hospital's Aspen Outpatient Center conference room, 2750 N. Sycamore Drive.
The first meeting is scheduled Sept. 25.
The support groups will be facilitated by Chaplain Ron Hyrchuk, the hospital's director of spiritual care services, who has more than a decade of experience in helping others work through the death of a loved one.
The groups are designed to provide a safe place for people to express their feelings and to facilitate healing.
Those interested in attending should call Hyrchuk at 955-6225.
