Man found dead in water, search continues for second victim near PCH

More from Breaking NewsA man was found face down in the water this afternoon off the Pacific Coast Highway in Ventura County, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The male victim was in the ocean at a beach near La Jolla Canyon, according to the CHP.
Paramedics with the Ventura County Fire Department went to the scene at 1:30 p.m., and later the coroner was sent.
The CHP reported that he had been pulled out of the water. Originally, a search was conducted for a second victim. But authorities later determined there was no second victim.

I would hate to be in your family. The name of the deceased man has not even been released yet. How do you know you don’t know him or even related to you? one day it will be your name and death in the paper, and I’m sure your family will be angry when people are laughing and making jokes about the way you died. Because I’m sure there are more sick people out there other then you. and people will be saying something stupid about it. oh well,

somethings missing here. i wonder if the reason they are looking for a second body is that these are the people missing from the boat that crashed.

wow? I guess as long as I understand what the story is saying or trying to say I'm good. Some people feel the need to critize in order to fill good about themselves.

at the point that some of you are reading this, the red star has changed from the original headline, so i'm sure my prior comment no longer makes sense to someone coming in now. the original headline was "man found face down" with a refence to searching for an additional victim. there was, of course, no mention of him being found dead or in the water, etc.

Apparently no second victim, details are sketchy, but looks like a suicide. Hey, give the VCS a break, authorities are not giving out information yet. They only can report on facts that can be verified.

Some of you people need to mind your own business. The economy is causing people to commit suicide because they are losing their homes, their jobs, and their savings. As the year progresses we will be reading more and more stories like this.
