Morning Report: Arrest after 4-car crash

Police and Fire: A driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Tuesday evening following a four-car crash in Port Hueneme, authorities said.

The injury crash occurred about 5:28 p.m. on Ventura Road at Bard Road, police said.

Further details were not immediately available this morning.

Traffic: At 7:03 a.m., the California Highway Patrol was reporting a minor injury crash on Highway 118 westbound near Sycamore Drive in Simi Valley.

The three-car crash was first reported at 5:57 a.m. The initial report indicated one car had rolled over.

The CHP this morning was also reporting a traffic hazard near the center divider of Highway 101 northbound just north of Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks.

Weather: Sunny and warm conditions are expected throughout the county today, the National Weather Service reported.

Forecasters predict high temperatures ranging from the 70s at beaches to the mid 80s in local mountains and the mid 90s in valleys.

wow i wonder who it was, i had to drive through that on my way home and I could've sworn there were 5 cars not 4.
