Bus, car collide; no injuries reported

A non-injury collision between a school bus and a car was reported in Camarillo this afternoon.

The bus and the car collided on Adolfo Road just east of Lewis Road about 1:50 p.m., the California Highway Patrol reported.

The accident was a very minor collision involving one vehicle backing into the other, said Capt. Frank O’Hanlon of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.

There were children on the bus. No injuries were reported.

Well, the CHP would only investigate it if it were in the County, on the Freeway or there were kids on the bus.....So since this happened in the City of Camarillo one could conclude there were children on the bus.

Since the last sentence say's,"there were children on the bus", one could conclude that there were children on the bus. DUH!!!!

It is still there on CHP site. Upper right area as stated above under filed incidents.

CAUTION! THIS VEHICLE STOPS AT ALL RAILROAD CROSSINGS

Considering the accident location I'm wondering if this was a factor?
