Masked man robs gas station

A man wearing a Halloween mask robbed a Simi Valley gas station late Sunday night, police said.
The man walked into the Arco at 706 East Los Angeles Avenue just before midnight, demanded money from the clerk, then jumped the counter and took cash from the register, Simi Valley police said in a prepared statement.
The man then took several items from the store's display and left on foot.
No weapons were seen and no injuries were reported.
The robber was described as a man in his 20s. In addition to the Halloween mask, he wearing a baseball cap a black jacket and jeans, police said.
No information was reported about what the mask depicted, said Simi Valley police Lt. Greg Riegert.
Police encourage anyone with information about the robbery to call 583-6950.

This has to be at least the fourth time I have seen this same Arco station named in a robbery on this website.

How did they know the age of the guy (or beefy gal) if he/she was wearing a mask?

He spent good money on the mask. Might as well use it!
