Conejo Players Theatre's OPEN HOUSE a Huge Success!!!

The Conejo Players Theatre OPEN HOUSE, last Saturday May 24, a kickoff to a year-long celebration of the theatre's 50th Anniversary was a huge success. Over 200 community members stopped by to tour the facility; participate in family-fun activities and, listen to a public proclamation of recognition by Thousand Oaks Mayor, Jacqui Irwin. Other acknowledgements of the theatre's contributions over the years included a reading of a proclamation submitted to the national Congressional Record by Elton Gallegly.

The OPEN HOUSE served to reintroduce the community to the Conejo Players Theatre and invite patrons to come see several productions that will open soon. "The ODD COUPLE-Female Version" will open on June 20 and plays through July 19 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 PM. The theatre's afternoon program will feature 2:00 PM matinees on Saturdays and Sundays of SOCIAL SECURITY, which opens June 28 and plays through July 19. Call the Box Office at (805) 495-3715 for ticket reservations.

The Conejo Players Theatre is also pleased to announce upcoming auditions for that musical classic, ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, on Sunday, June 29 (at 7:00 PM) and Monday and Tuesday, June 30 and July 1 at 7:30 PM. It's also time to plan summer, family fun by bringing your child to audition for the theatre's children's musical, DISNEY'S ALICE IN WONDERLAND.
