Pair arrested after graffiti incident

Two people were arrested Monday in connection with a graffiti incident near Santa Paula, authorities said.

Sheriff's deputies responded at 12:16 a.m. to a report of two people tagging an underpass of Highway 126 at Faulkner Road, sheriff's Capt. Ross Bonfiglio said.

A witness provided a description of a vehicle seen leaving the scene, and about 40 minutes later deputies stopped a vehicle that matched that description in the 11100 block of Telegraph Road.

They arrested Bo Richard Williams, 24, of Tehachapi on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanors including vandalism.

An 18-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor vandalism and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Investigators do not believe the graffiti was gang-related.

Wow, what a bizarre story. Guy comes all the way from Tehachapi to tag? I've been there and I know they have at least one overpass on hwy 58 near town. Well, most likely they got stoned, and then spraying their expressions of love for each other seemed to make sense. And it wasn't gang related???? This may be a first. I won't even touch the name/ethnicity issue lest it stir up the usual controversy here.

Why do these idiots have to tag their crap all over the place? I don't understand. If they are so artistically inclined why do they not be creative enough to put it on paper or canvas? If it is a matter of them wanting people to see their work....that is what art shows and museums are for!

I know this cost the city alot of money to clean off. BUT don't these idiots realize they are just wasting money on spray paint that is going to be removed. Probably before too many people even see it. I would think they have better ways to spend thier money? And if they are on any state programs where they receive money I think that should be taken away if they are caught doing crap like this.

I think I see two more charges that are missing. Both were under the influence of a controlled substance so we have DUI and both decided to buy the spray paint for the purpose of committing a crime so we also have conspiracy. They drove all the way out here to tag an overpass the least we could do is throw the book at them.

Where do they get money for gas??? Let's find out if they have a job. Maybe they're accountants or computer programmers. You never know. As far as being artistic --- most of these creeps are artistic-less.
