Three arrested in break-in at school

A man and two juveniles were arrested Friday night on suspicion of attempted burglary at Hollywood Beach School, authorities said.

A security guard spotted Justin Martin, 19, and two juveniles about 11:30 p.m. on the campus at 4000 Sunset Lane, Ventura County Sheriff's Department Capt. David Kenney said.

They were on the school's roof when authorities arrived, Kenney said. The trio climbed off the roof and tried to flee, but were detained with the help of K-9 units from the Sheriff's Department and the Port Hueneme Police Department.

Two sustained minor dog bites, Kenney said.

All three were arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary and resisting officers, authorities said.

Martin was held at Ventura County Jail on Saturday in lieu of $50,000 bail.

I'm sorry the 3rd idiot didn't get bitten by the dog also. Maybe they should go to school as students instead of trying to vandalize the school. Stupid people do stupid things..... Now - let's hear from their parents.

clementine just wondering why you said "now-lets hear it from their parents" I can see if their parents were cought with them. But other then that. The average parent does not condone this type of behavior.I would hope they wouldn't anyway. Are you a parent? and tell me if you are what you do that i might not seriously.thanks

@cast: stow it. If the parents were responsible, they'd have a leg up over what their kids were doing. I have a relative and his spouse that don't do squat about their kids. One of their sons is continuously in hot water and a regular at juvenile hall. He smokes pot, he tags, steals, etc.

So before you go on telling people to shuttup in not so many words, maybe YOU need to be the one put in check here.

It sounds to me that clementine was spot on. You obviously couldn't hit the target if it was the ground.

WarpKat ,And people wonder why parents want to pull thier hair out at times.......
Obviously its not always the parents fault. Some kids just get caught up in the wrong crowd ....

I told this kid's mother he was headed for jail when he was in jr. high... she should have listened! This kid had a horrible life, no parental supervision, and basically no one who cared. So sad.

And when they were students, their parents couldn't get them to go anywhere near a school. Go figure.

If I was ever "with the wrong crowd" my mother made sure I tought about it twice. If you cant raise a good child than close your legs or put a condom. Maybe this parent was one of the morons waiting 4 hours for gas
