Free public concert set for Memorial Day

The Conejo Recreation and Park District will present a free Concert in the Park on May 26, Memorial Day, at Conejo Community Park, at Dover and Hendrix avenues.

The 5 p.m. concert, sponsored by the city of Thousand Oaks, will feature the Harry Selvin Big Band performing the music of Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey and others from that era.

Concertgoers are encouraged to take a picnic dinner. Families are welcome, but all who attend are asked to leave pets at home.

Parking is limited to surface streets around the park.
