Veterans, spouses invited to Salute to Arms' lunch

More from Local NewsAll Simi Valley veterans and their spouses are invited to the third annual Memorial Day "Salute to Arms" luncheon in their honor.
Simi Valley restaurants and businesses are donating food or gifts to be given as door prizes for the May 26 event at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
There will be a special tribute to the late Marine Sgt. Paul Mole, owner of Paul's Italian Villa. Mole had participated in previous events by playing taps as well as donating food.
More than 300 people attended the event last year.
The LDS Single Adult Group of the Simi Valley Stake is sponsoring the event. It will be from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church, 480 Sinaloa Road.
