A Wonderful Day at the Spring Arts and Crafts Fair

Vendor, Frances Riley, shows some of her Bag Lady totes. Riley also sold handmade photo greeting cards at the May 3 Spring Arts and Crafts Fair.
May 3 was an exciting day for local crafters at the Spring Arts and Crafts Fair. Rows and rows of vendor booths offered handmade jewelry, purses, greeting cards, toys, hair ornaments, houseware items, and so much more.
From 10am-4pm, shoppers came to Rancho Tapo Community Park to stroll and shop. The weather was perfect for spending a few hours looking at the booths, eating at the food area, and enjoying the entertainment. Highlights at the stage included the DJ, a belly dancing group called Jewels of the Nile, cheerleaders, and more.
Vendor, Frances Riley, from Bag Lady and Frances Riley Enterprises, said, "I had fun today meeting new people, selling my photo greeting cards and tote bags." Riley came down from Running Springs, California, to participate in the show.
If you missed the event, don't worry. The annual Harvest Festival Arts and Crafts Fair is scheduled for Sunday, October 26, at Rancho Santa Susana Community Park. Plan to attend, or plan to be a vendor.
