Some Hwy. 23 lanes will close at night
Work by the California Department of Transportation will affect some commuters on Highway 23 beginning this evening.
Caltrans will close the southbound connector lanes from Highway 23 to northbound and southbound Highway 101 from 7 p.m. today to 6 a.m. Thursday for overnight striping work, a spokeswoman said.
Signed detours will be posted to assist motorists, the spokeswoman said. The planned closures are weather-permitting and subject to change.
