Scholarships available for Musical Theater Camp

Summer Musical Theater Camp is available for kids age 7 to 15. There is a special scholarship opportunity for Moorpark residents, but kids from all areas may register for the program at http://www.gypsyproductions.biz.
The High Street Arts Center, in association with Gypsy Productions, will host the 2008 Summer Musical Theater Camp. This is a workshop that will culminate with four performances of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast."
The center will sponsor five scholarships, worth $725 each, to applicants chosen at random. Scholarship winners will fully participate in the program. Applicants must be full-time residents of Moorpark and must have permission of a parent or guardian. Applications must be received by 5 p.m May 30.
Cast auditions are June 20. Rehearsals begin June 23, and performances are scheduled for July 24-26.
