2 teens arrested on suspicion of burglary

Two teenagers were arrested Monday in Camarillo on suspicion of burglary after sheriff's deputies caught them at a home where valuables had been gathered into a pile, authorities said.

Deputies responded about 9:30 a.m. to a reported residential burglary in the 4600 block of Calle Descanso and found one young man in the front yard of a residence and another trying to jump a fence in the home's back yard, the Sheriff's Department reported.

Noel Morales and Eric Haul, both 18 and from Oxnard, were arrested on suspicion of burglary after deputies searched the house and found electronics and other valuables gathered into a pile, authorities said.

Morales and Haul are also suspects in a residential burglary May 1 in the 1700 block of San Vito Lane in Camarillo, authorities said.

I don't live in Oxnard but let me set some hidden facts in the open: Statistically, per capita, Camarillo has more offenders. I'm not talking about registered sex offenders, I'm talking about sex crimes arrestees. Residential facilities are virtually nonexistant in Camarillo which limits the opportunity for their own registrees to live in their home city of Camarillo. They must live in neighboring Oxnard which is only 5 or 10 minutes away. Hence, more registered offenders in Oxnard.

YaYa13 - being that NP is a part of TO (the safest city) I would like to know how/why you think NP is like a little Oxnard????

Oh for heaven's sake, people, grow up. You sound like a bunch of grade-schoolers going "my school is better" "no my school is better." The fact is, all of Ventura County is similar and fairly low in crime compared to a lot of the rest of the state, especially bigger cities. Why not try to see yourselves as one community instead of several? VC is really just a speck in the big picture. Make it a community instead of this ridiculous bashing.
