Suspected burglars arrested in Camarillo
Two teenagers were arrested on suspicion of burglary in Camarillo Monday after Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies caught them at a home where valuables had been gathered into a pile, authorities said.
Ventura County Sheriff's deputies responding about 9:30 a.m. to a report of a possible residential burglary in the 4600 block of Calle Descanso in Camarillo found one young man in the front yard of a residence and caught another in the home's back yard as he attempted to leave by jumping a fence, the Sheriff's Department reported in a prepared statement.
Noel Morales, 18, of Oxnard, and Eric Haul, 18, of Oxnard, were arrested on suspicion of burglary after deputies searching the house found a pile of electronics and other valuables the two were allegedly trying to steal.
Morales and Haul are also suspects in a residential burglary that occurred in the 1700 block of San Vito Lane in Camarillo May 1, according to the statement.
Both were booked into the county's Pre-Trial Detention Facility.

Oh for the love of God people...one of the people arrested in Oxnard for illegal towing of vehicles was from Camarillo.
Who gives a crap where they're from?!! There are stupid people who do illegal things and they come from all walks of life and from all cities.

Star...why is it that sometimes you refer to an 18 year old as "an 18-year-old Oxnard MAN" and this time it's "an 18-year-old Oxnard TEEN?"
I know that they could "technically" be considered teens still chronologically, but in the eyes of the law they are ADULTS!!! Pick one and stick with it!!!!!!
You look so unprofessional in your inconsistency all in the interest of shocking headlines and selling papers.
Anyhow....great job Camarillo PD!!! I hope those two losers can read this and see us all laughing at them!!! Hahahahaha

Actually the burglars were caught by a very observant citizen who remembered the description of the suspect vehicle from the May 1st crime. She saw a car matching the description and decided to follow through with calling it in.
Citizens need to remember to be observant and never feel awkward calling a "maybe could match the description". The owner of the car very well could have been innocent...but in this case wasn't. This diligent and concerned citizen deserves high praise for truly making a difference and getting two low lifes caught and behind bars!!
I would personally like to thank this woman for making my neighborhood a much safer place!! Kudos to her!

its an eye sore having to read this type of nonsense from ignorant people, im making reference to the way oxnard is being portrayed. yes oxnard can be alittle rough around the edges, ide like to see a perfect city! the two youth made stupid decisions,at the same time, i bet some of you are parents to youth just like the two caught...your just too stupid to notice..i am an oxnard resident, and it bugs the hell outta me when an arrogant f#$k from camarillo and ventura start the finger pointing game!dont act like your city doesnt have problems, alotta the crime out in those areas are under the radar from the star!

astroox805....
What you need to remember is that the few often ruin tings for the many. Given the ongoing problems that get reported from Oxnard (e.g. gang violence, gang presence, etc.), the city has gotten a bad rap. It will take much work...and possibly several generations, to remove the stigma.

fungas
your right, ive takin that into account, i guess what triggers my aggression towards the whole situation is the fact that others practically spit on the city i dwell without taking a good look at the people they politic with. im aware of alot of the crime that happens in and out of oxnard,in specific, ventura county.. there isnt any better in the neighboring cities next to oxnard!
