Deschanel has the lead role in coming comedy

Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel are starring in "500 Days of Summer," a comedy from Fox Searchlight. Minka Kelly is also joining the cast.
Music video director Marc Webb is making his directorial debut on the film.
"Summer" is an examination of a relationship between a woman (Deschanel) who doesn't believe in love and the man (Gordon-Levitt) who falls hopelessly in love with her. The cast includes Rachel Boston, Clark Gregg, Matthew Gray Gubler, and Chloe Moretz.
