Chivas USA beaten by Revolution

CARSON — Taylor Twellman scored in the 59th minute in his 2008 debut to lead the New England Revolution to a 2-1 win over Chivas USA on Sunday.

Twellman had been sidelined after having successful surgery to repair a torn medial meniscus in his right knee April 2. It was the Revolution's first win on the road at Chivas USA. New England had been 0-2-1 against the Goats on the West Coast.

Justin Braun scored the Goats' lone goal in stoppage time when he received a centering pass from Maykel Galindo.
