Library friends to hold used-book sale

More from County NewsThe San Buenaventura Friends of the Library will hold a Spring Book Sale May 31, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Wright Library parking lot, 57 Day Road, off Telegraph Road, near Ventura College.
Used books in all categories will be for sale. All proceeds go to help pay for new books, CDs, DVDs, books on tape and summer reading programs for children at the city's three public libraries.
For information regarding the friends of the library, to become a volunteer worker, or make a tax-deductible donation, pick up forms at the Foster, Wright or Avenue libraries. For more information, call Will Thompson at 642-4358 or wily1@earthlink.net.
