Digital media class offered for nonprofits

A digital media class is being offered for nonprofit organizations in Ventura County later this month.
Sponsored by the Ventura County Community Foundation, the course is designed to prepare nonprofit leaders to make and distribute digital media. Topics include script writing, producing and distributing digital media, using Web sites effectively and distributing messages through podcasts.
The class will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 23 at the CAPS-TV Media Center, 65 Day Road, Ventura. Cost: $125 per person including a continental breakfast.
