Morgan signs with Cal State Northridge
Ventura High graduate Claire Morgan has signed a letter of intent with the Cal State Northridge women's track and field program.
Morgan was a state finalist in the girls' discus throw last year as a senior and set a program record with a best of 143 feet, 10 inches.
At Northridge, Morgan will be competing in the discus, hammer, javelin and shot put.
The Northridge throws coach is nine-time NCAA champion Seiala Sua.
Morgan has been training with her father, Fred Morgan.
