Long-course meet continues today

The Buenaventura Swim Club will host Day 2 of the Buenaventura Long-Course Swim Meet today at the Ventura Aquatics Center in Ventura.

Approximately 500 swimmers, ages 5-18, from the Ventura County area, neighboring counties and as far as San Diego to the south and Marin County to the north are competing in the meet.

Swimmers age 5 to 12 will swim in the morning, starting at 9 a.m., while ages 13-18 will swim in the afternoon. All events are long-course races, measured in meters.

The club serves youth ages 5-18 and adult masters and pre-masters swimmers. All training takes place at the Ventura Aquatics Center on Kimball Road.
