Man arrested after two stabbed in hotel
One man was arrested Thursday night after two men were stabbed in a hotel room in Newbury Park, authorities said.
The suspect, whose name was not immediately released, was arrested near the Best Value Inn at 2650 Camino Dos Rios shortly after 7 p.m., Ventura County Sheriff's Department Capt. Chris Dunn said.
The man is suspected of stabbing the two men with a box cutter in a room at the hotel, Dunn said.
Both victims were taken to Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center with minor injuries, Dunn said.
Information about the motive for the stabbings was unavailable because the investigation was ongoing.
