The 5-foot-6 senior from Chandler, Ariz. will graduate as the Regals' sixth all-time scorer (1,216) and second all-time 3-point shooter (195). The guard averaged 12.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.8 steals in 25 games as CLU won five of its last six games to qualify for the inaugural conference tournament. Had 29 points and eight rebounds at Whittier Jan. 12. A member of SCIAC championship teams in 2005 and 2006 and an All-SCIAC team member in 2005, 2007 and 2008.
Tiffany Hurd
Moorpark College
The 5-foot-11 freshman forward from Moorpark High burst onto the community college scene with a 36-point performance against Contra Costa in her collegiate debut Nov. 9. Hurd averaged 18.1 points and 6.9 rebounds for the fifth-place Raiders, making 80 3-pointers. She scored 34 points against Santa Monica and 31 points against Hancock, a performance that included nine 3-pointers. She scored 20 or more points 15 times. The All-WSC North selection combines with freshman point guard Alex Alvarez as the cornerstone of the 2008-09 season.
Awilda Hernandez
Oxnard College
The 5-foot-5 sophomore from Oxnard High was a fixture in the Condors' backcourt over the past two seasons. Hernandez averaged 11.3 points, 2.6 assists and 2.1 steals per game. Shot 75 percent from the free throw line and made 44 of 140 attempts from behind the 3-point arc (31 percent). The honorable mention All-WSC North selection scored 21 points against Cuesta Feb. 13. Scored 16 points against Los Angeles City on Dec. 7 as Oxnard capped off a quick start which included winning nine of its first 11 games in non-conference play.
Indira Kaljo
Ventura College
The 5-foot-10 guard from Sherman Oaks transferred from Utah State and quickly became a keystone of the Pirates' first Great Eight team in five years. The native of Bosnia averaged 16.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists a game. The All-WSC North, second-team All-State and honorable-mention All-American selection shot 76 percent from the line and 37.8 percent from 3-point land. She scored nine points in the opener and followed by scoring in double figures for the remaining 34 games. She's being recruited by Washington, Santa Clara, Cornell and Tulane.
