If you have noticed the green hills lately it shows growth from the recent rains doesnt it look beautiful?  There are hiking, biking and running trails all over those hills and the Rancho Simi Trail Blazer volunteer group keeps these trails in excellent condition.

Headed by Mike Kuhn, the Trail Blazers have  maintenance projects but they also  organize events like a hike when there is a FULL MOON.   We cant believe how much work they put into their volunteering!

And the Simi Valley Public Library is used by hundreds of people every single day!  Dale Redfield is the  Principal Librarian and she is often seen giving us a wave or a cheer as we run by.  Last year our donation added books specifically for fitness and health, something very important to everyone.

Two events hosted by the 805 Boot Camp resulted in over $600 in donations to these two groups.  It was amazing how many people came out to support the causes!

We cant believe the support from our boot campers and their families. Randy Shoemaker reports.

805 Boot Camp regularly hosts events to raise money, mostly run/walks.  This year so far we have sponsored the 2nd Annual Love Run at Rocky Peak and the 5K Run For Books at the Simi Valley Public Library.

Over 40 Simi Valley, Chatsworth and Moorpark residents joined us this year to run both races.
