Ride On Therapeutic Horsemanship to hold free Open House
Ride On Therapeutic Horsemanship will be holding an Open House on Saturday 5th April to give the community an opportunity to learn more about the services that it offers to children and adults with special needs. This fun, family orientated day will include demonstrations by our talented students highlighting the programs that Ride On provides including therapeutic riding and hippotherapy - physical therapy on horseback. There will be plenty of entertainment and fun activities for children including stick horse crafts, jolly jump, pony petting, face and hair painting and a horseshoe hunt. There will also be staff and board members on hand to talk about volunteer and involvement opportunities. The Open House will also recognize the support of the community and the partnership with Conejo Recreation and Park District. The event will be held at 401 Ronel Court, Newbury Park between 10am - 2pm. Lunch will be served by local Rotarians between 11.30am and 1pm, the event is free and public are encouraged to attend. For more information on the Open House or the programs that Ride On offers please visit our website at www.rideon.org.
