CLU names new president
Chris Kimball, provost of California Lutheran University, has been named the seventh president of the Thousand Oaks university.
The board of regents announced the appointment just after noon today.
Kimball, whose background is in American history, will start his new job on April 1.
He replaces John Sladek, who resigned after one year on the job. The Rev. Howard Wennes has been serving as interim president.
