Sea Creatures Found Alive At Sycamore Canyon School
The students at Sycamore Canyon School were surprised and exicited to have live animals visit them. These students and teachers were able to touch and hold these local sea creatures while being just feet away from their classrooms. This hands-on program was provided by the Ocean Discovery Center which brings this traveling tide pool to schools in the Ventura and Los Angeles counties. On this day at Sycamore Canyon the students and teachers were able to see, touch and learn about many local sea animals including sea stars, horn sharks and even an octopus as she covered her eggs. The Ocean Discovery Center can be reached at 818-706-7335 for more information.
