BOYS' TRACK

Graham betters two marks

At Don Green Invitational, Saturday

Highlights: Calabasas — Clayton Graham set meet record in the 800 (1 minute, 56.98 seconds) and the 3,200 (9:40.47). Rio Mesa — Sean Alvino won the 100 in 11.12. Quentin Greenlaw won the 400 in 51.53. Oxnard — Jamal Smith won the 200 in 23.02. Oak Park — Evan Hennessey won the 1,600 (4:31.50). Kenichi Sugai was second in the pole vault at 13 feet, 6 inches. Thousand Oaks — Sean Gildea was runner-up in the 3,200 in 9:46.23, which was lower than the previous meet record. Westlake — Garret Drogosch placed fourth in the 3,200 in 9:55.10, better than the previous meet record. Tommy Doupe was second in the discus at 147-11. Ventura — Rogelio Reyes won the 300 hurdles (42.17). Buena — Buena Galiano was second in the high jump (6 feet). Moorpark — Jordan Tyler won the pole vault at 13-6.

GIRLS' TRACK

Lee, Blanchard set records

At Don Green Invitational, Saturday

Highlights: Rio Mesa — Mariyah Lee bettered the meet record in the 200 with a time of 26.47. She also won the 100 (12.79). Camarillo — Cassandra Brooker was second in the 400 (1:01.24) and the 800 (5:14.87). Thousand Oaks — Kaitlyn Sullivan was runner-up in the 3,200 with an 11:35.41. Bridget Ryan won the triple jump (31-9). La Reina — Sasha Blanchard bettered the meet record in the 300 hurdles (46.41) and won the 100 hurdles (15.46) and long jump (15-5). Moorpark — Rachel Olinyk won the high jump (5-2). Oak Park — Freshman Madison Stark won the pole vault at 10-0. Channel Islands — Brenda Morales was second in the discus (94-5). Simi Valley — In the frosh-soph division, Liberty Miller won the 3,200 (11:29.71) and was third in the 1,600 (5:19.12).

HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL

Buena 9, Lompoc 2;

Rio Mesa 3, Buena 1

At Simi Valley Tournament, Saturday

Highlights: Buena — Melanie Gray pitched a three-hitter against Lompoc. Mariah Flores was 2 for 4 with four RBIs, Danielle Markmann drove in two runs, Ashley Dasnoit was 2 for 3 and Dani Millan homered. Against Rio Mesa, Cate Giacopuzzirotz had an RBI and McKenzie Burroughs walked twice.
