Wine tasting will benefit Kingsmen

The Kingsmen Shakespeare Company is hosting a wine tasting and silent auction from 3 to 6 p.m. July 13 to raise money for its theater programs.
Admission is $45, and includes six tastings, hors d'oeurves and entertainment by Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival actors. A silent auction will include getaway packages, golf outings and theater tickets. Guests may also purchase wine from the WineStyles collection.
The Kingsmen Shakespeare Company is a nonprofit professional theater organization dedicated to providing a low-cost and professional celebration of the Bard's works for the entertainment and education of the community. It has produced shows during the Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival at California Lutheran University since 1997.
The current season features performances of "As You Like It," which runs through July 13, and "Henry IV: The Apprenticeship of Good Prince Hal," running July 18 through Aug. 3.
The event will be held at WineStyles in the Janss Marketplace, 193 N. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.
The wine tasting and auction are limited to 75 people. To purchase tickets by mail, send a check payable to Kingsmen Shakespeare Company to P.O. Box 1772, Thousand Oaks CA 91358-0772. Tickets can also be purchased through PayPal by visiting http://www.kingsmenshakespeare.org/winetasting.
