PHD NSWC ANNOUNCES 2008 NAVY GOLD COAST CONFERENCE
Port Hueneme Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (PHD NSWC) announces the 20th Annual Navy Gold Coast Conference, a two-day small business conference that is the Navy's largest West Coast event. The conference will take place Aug. 27-28, 2008 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego.
The Gold Coast Conference provides a forum to educate, guide, and assist businesses, especially small businesses, in working with the government and primarily the Department of Defense. Attendance is not restricted to those who do business directly with the government, but open to all relevant businesses.
In addition to speakers, plenary and breakout sessions, and over 250 industry and government exhibitors, this year's conference will feature an increased focus on creating networking opportunities between government and industry attendees. Additionally, workshops of interest to the small business community will be conducted.
The event is sponsored by PHD NSWC, in conjunction with the Navy Office of Small Business Programs, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, the Marine Corps and the National Defense Industrial Association-San Diego.
Advance purchase tickets are available through Aug. 15 for $199. Tickets will be available at the door for $299. Major sponsorship plans, a small business consortium sponsorship plan and exhibitor opportunities are also available.
