Jack & Donna Lee Taylor of Oxnard celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner at the beautiful Dale Ranch in Santa Paula. It was hosted by their two children, Kelley and Tim Goodwin, and Rod Taylor. Among those in attendance were their two grandchildren, Kristie Goodwin and Timmy Goodwin, great-grandson Raif Lawrence, Ida Kyle (Donna Lee's mother), and other family members along with many long-time friends.
They were married June 1, 1958 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Camarillo and have lived in Oxnard since then. Jack took an early retirement from General Telephone Company in 1988 after being with them 31 years and Donna Lee retired from Jones & Maulding Insurance Agency in 2001 after 21 years.
