Miguel Angel Garcia now 13-0 11KOs
Miguel Angel Garcia of La Colonia/Pal Boxing Club in Oxnard destroyed Jae-Sung Lee Thursday night in one minute 15 secs of the fourth round at the Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Because of the impressive record of Sung-Lee going into the fight (9-1 6 Kos) some thought this would be a tough fight for the twenty year old Garcia. But he proved himself to be a very patient and smart fighter. Once Miguel figured out his opponents style, it was all over. First a left right combination sent Sung-Lee to the canvas and after beating the count Garcia quickly landed some hard punches to the head and the referee stepped in and saved the over matched fighter. Next up for Garcia may be a return visit to Las Vegas on the undercard of the Clottey vs Judah Pay-Per-View event at the Palms Casino on August 2. Miguel is trained by his brother former World champ Roberto Garcia.
