Crews work into night on power outage
A power outage in north Oxnard had Southern California Edison crews working late into Saturday night.
The outage happened about 8:30 p.m. and initially affected more than 6,100 Edison customers in an area south of Olivas Park Drive, north of Gonzales Road, east of Harbor Boulevard and west of Oxnard Boulevard. Within about an hour, the outage was confined to about 2,500 customers, said Rudy Gonzales, a regional manager for Edison.
No cause has been identified. Gonzales expected power to be fully restored by this morning.
