Conejo Oaks no-hit by Dodgers' Serrano

The Conejo Oaks suffered their third consecutive loss, a 6-0 no-hitter to the East L.A. Dodgers on Thursday at Westwood.

The Oaks fell victims of the rare no-hitter in their first of three round-robin games in the Best of the West Tournament.

Only two days after being shut out for the first time this season, the Oaks managed only two baserunners all day. The perfect game was broken up in the fifth when left fielder Lance Roenicke was hit by a pitch and stranded at first. The only other baserunner came in the eighth when catcher Matt Scioscia reached on an error and was stranded at first.

Dodgers starter Mark Serrano tossed all nine innings, striking out 12.
