Bears sign Harris to four-year extension

More from NFLThe Chicago Bears signed defensive tackle Tommie Harris to a four-year contract extension on Thursday that runs through the 2012 season.
The team declined to release financial terms of the deal, but Harris planned to speak about the new deal during a news conference Friday morning.
The 25-year-old Harris is a three-time Pro Bowl selection. He started 56 of his 60 career NFL games and recorded 208 tackles during his four seasons with the Bears.
A 2004 first-round pick out of Oklahoma, Harris has had 13 sacks in the last two seasons — ranking him second among NFL defensive tackles.
Woman involved in Pacman fight is found dead in New York: A Bronx woman who was involved in a Las Vegas brawl that police say NFL star Adam "Pacman" Jones' incited has been found dead.
Police say 26-year-old Sadia Morrison was found dead last week behind a Bronx building. Officers found her unresponsive with injuries consistent with a fall.
The medical examiner will determine her cause of death.
Morrison pleaded no contest to a felony battery charge last year in Las Vegas.
She was involved in a strip club melee that Las Vegas police say was incited by Jones, who pleaded no contest to a disorderly conduct charge.
Niners sign sixth-round pick: The San Francisco 49ers signed receiver Josh Morgan, getting the first of their six draft picks under contract.
The 49ers took Morgan in the sixth round after his four-year career at Virginia Tech. Morgan led the Hokies last season with 46 catches for 552 yards and five touchdowns.
San Francisco still is working on a deal with first-round pick Kentwan Balmer, a defensive lineman from North Carolina.
