Seminar Answers Questions About Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives And Long Term Care Insurance

(Camarillo, CA) - Chances are if you asked the average person age 30 and older if they have established a power of attorney and health care directive or own a long term care insurance policy, the common response would be a resounding no to all of the above. Most people dont realize the value and importance of having all of these crucial documents in place until it is too late.

On June 26, Cheri L. Kurman, of Kurman Law Group and Kerry Rafferty, of the Rafferty State Farm Agency will present a FREE seminar on the importance of planning for the future; and what you need to know about powers of attorney, health care directives and long term care insurance. Our goal is to educate the public on the various options they have in terms of planning for the inevitable and why it is crucial to have a plan in place so loved ones will be prepared to carry out exact wishes, said Ms. Kurman.

Ms. Kurman will explain the dynamics involved in creating powers of attorney and health care directives, such as choosing the appropriate family member or friend and vital instructions to include in a health care directive. Should you become incapable of making critical financial or medical decisions these documents assigns responsibility and authority for your care to the family member or friend of your choosing.

Mr. Rafferty will focus on providing solid information so that you can make an appropriate decision regarding including long term care insurance as part of your retirement and estate planning.
