Buttitta: Greetings from San Diego!

SAN DIEGO — After spending all my time in the media center on Tuesday, I got out to walk the golf course today.

It was a beautiful, sunny but cool. Torrey Pines is definitely looking good and I hope we have four more days like this so players can strut their stuff.

From outside the ropes, the rough doesn't look that long and the fairways don't look that narrow, but Jason Gore told me it's going to be a really tough test of golf.

The Tiger/Phil pairing continues to be the big talk. I got an armband to walk inside the ropes, so I will be at the first tee at 8:06 this morning to watch all the fun.

After my walk around the course, I stopped in the merchandise tent. Two years ago at the Masters I started a tradition of buying matching golf shirts for me and my 2-year-old son Shaun. He loves it when we wear the same shirt. But despite having a tent the size of three football fields, I could not find matching shirts. It's the only disappointment so far this week.
