Salon will accept spa's gift cards

More from Local NewsAfter hearing news that Satori Day Spa & Salon abruptly closed its doors this week, another Simi Valley salon has offered to honor all outstanding gift cards from Satori.
Hair Unlimited at 1720 E. Los Angeles Ave. will take all Satori gift cards until Sept. 15, said co-owner Mindy Verdina.
"We want to put good out there, and good will come back," she said.
Satori closed Monday and left more than 20 stylists and spa workers out of jobs. It was unclear how Satori's owner would handle the spa's outstanding gift cards. Verdina said she wanted to help people by accepting them at her salon.
